Today was devoted to exploring Moscow. Our group went on a guided 4 hour bus tour (with frequent stops and a lot of walking involved as well) of the city of Moscow. Some of the things we saw included the Red Square {Красная Площадь }, St. Basil's Cathedral {Храм Василия Блаженного}, The Cathedral of Christ (the) Saviour {Храм Христа Спасителя}and other famous sites.
After lunch, we decided to take the metro to the Old Arbat. I was amazed by the beauty of the metro. Our stop - Novoslobodskaya is pretty with the stained glass images.
Moscow is an exciting and thriving city, bustling with energy. It has much to over it's tourists and is incredibly scenic and picturesque. I'm eager to explore some of the landmarks in greater dept.
